A new hardware add-on for the Comfort Home Automation Alarm system allows users to remotely control equipment that uses IR.
“IRM01 IR Transmit Module for Comfort Outputs – This Infrared LED transmitter connects to a Comfort output and allowing you to control TV and Video equipment using infrared codes (range approx 12 metres). Codes may be learned using the Philips Pronto remote Control. Mount it in a PIR aimed at the equipment being controlled and you have access to (for example) your VCR controls via the Web.”
