The motherboard in the barebones system is the Gigabyte GA-6KIEH mini-ITX, which has a socket P, which can take Intel Penryn/Merom/Celeron M500 series processors.  The board also has 2 DDRII slots, each of which can take 2GB of memory.  Onboard the Silicon Image Sil 3114 provides RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 for the 4 SATA ports.  Dual Intel Gigabit NICs provide high speed network access, making this an ideal NAS box.  As this is a barebones system, you would need to add a CPU, memory and drives. If you prefer to choose your own motherboard you can also buy the Travla TE-1160 Case on its own.
