This new product brings an all-in-one solution, ideal for multiple high-speed Internet connections in the home to serve all the members of the family. Similar to all Linksys products, the WAG54G is simple to install and to use… The WAG54G is an « all-in-one » solution, providing in one box:
- An ADSL modem, which enables a permanent and quick Internet connection without monopolising a telephone line
- A 4-port Ethernet 10/100 switch, to connect Ethernet devices for network gaming and to share files, printers and broadband Internet connection throughout the home
- A Wireless G access point (802 .11G), to connect up to 32 devices on your network at a speed data rate of up to 54Mbit/s, without installing the slightest cable in your house. This access point is of course compatible with all 802.11b devices functioning at 11Mbit/s.
- A powerful firewall, to help prevent intrusions, protect your data and your private life, by the encryption of wireless transmissions or by blocking access by key words, without limitation of access time.
- VPN Interconnection, the WAG54G supports up to 5 VPN tunnels. By handling VPN intercommunications for IPSec, supporting PPTP and L2TP protocols, this product is ideal for interconnection of several sites quickly and securely.
The WAG54G is very easy to install. A configuration assistant guides the user step by step so they can configure their own personal network to suit their preferences and needs.
