A new ‘Living by Danfoss’ series of wireless, Z-Wave, smart home products includes this radiator thermostat. With claimed energy savings of up to 23% the system allows you to control the all the radiators around your home from a central display and control unit.
Heating elements remain the largest consumers of energy in Germany. The development of the living by Danfoss series is based on feedback from consumers throughout Europe, with their responses being almost uniform in nature: a large majority placed considerable value on heating controls offering a high level of convenience and comfort while at the same time saving energy costs. The electronic radiator thermostats from the living by Danfoss series provide help in this respect as the Aachen University study showed that replacing an “old” radiator thermostat with an electronic Danfoss radiator thermostat enables energy savings of 23 percent to be made.
Individual room temperature – Danfoss Z-Wave thermostats give users the opportunity to define heating intervals. Domestic residences are thus only heated when required. The temperature can be set individually for each room – for example a living room can remain warm during the day whereas a bedroom can be heated to a pleasant temperature just prior to bedtime. The Z-Wave chips integrated into the living connect thermostats also allow these devices to be included in home control networks other than Danfoss networks, as they can communicate with Z-Wave compatible devices from other manufacturers including those that are Internet and smart phone enabled.
Further information is available at www.z-wave.com. Visit Danfoss at the Z-Wave Alliance stand (C26) at the 12th Metering & Billing/CRM Europe in Vienna from 22nd to 24th September.”

You got the z-wave link directly cant find it on their site! Will be interesting what prices they set.
We are seeing more and more of these devices and no manufacturer has yet shown any interest in creating a wall mounted european z-wave thermostat similar to the RCS TZ43. Ive reached a point where I want to create one myself!

Does anyone know if the Z-Wave Thermostat would be open protocol so it would be able to be controlled with something like homeseer?
