The Netherlands based company have been producing security systems for a while now and have recently added a the K1 SmartHome DIY Kit, the UFO Panoramic WiFi HD Camera and Smart Video Doorbell to their range..
K1 SmartHome DIY Kit
smanos’s new K1 integrated smart home kit and security gateway acts both like a butler and a guard. Up to 50 wirelessly connected devices, including detectors, sensors and vision systems, can be intuitively operated as part of the system, either locally on-site or via an iOS or Android smartphone.
The kit includes the plug-and-play Smart Hub that forms the heart of the system, offering email, SMS, push notifications and voice communication with the user(s).
It also includes a Security Keypad to simply arm/disarm the system via a pattern-based code and a Pet-Friendly Motion Sensor in addition to the Door/Window Sensor and Indoor Siren. All of the security devices offer tamper-proof operation and a battery life of up to 3 years.
Z-Wave devices from other home security and automation brands, Amazon Echo, and the Google Nest® thermostat can also be used with the smanos K1 system. The K1 kit will be globally available in July 2016 at an RRP of £249.
UFO Panoramic WiFi HD
Available separately or as part of the K1 system, smanos’s new UFO Panoramic WiFi HD Camera. The smanos UFO camera can be mounted on the ceiling or a desk surface and provides three selectable 1080p views simultaneously: a 360-degree bird’s eye view, an auto-corrected 180-degree panoramic view and a 90-degree quad view.
By using your iPhone or Android smartphone, you can zoom in and out digitally and view the scene anywhere, anytime. The footage is stored on-site (via an optional microSD memory card) and can be accessed, shared and archived remotely via the cloud. The smanos UFO Panoramic WiFi HD Camera will be globally available in June 2016 at an RRP of £149.
Smart Video Doorbell
Also available as a stand-alone solution or for integration into the K1 system, the Smart Video Doorbell lets you answer the door even when you’re not home. The camera captures sharp images of visitors even at night and sends real-time video and audio to the homeowner’s and their family members’ smartphones. Using the smartphone app, users can then speak with the visitors from anywhere as long as the Internet (via WiFi or cellular signals) is available.
The doorbell features simple, DIY installation and is battery-powered for usage around 10 weeks and allows you to wire to your existing door chime if desired using the AC power module. Homeowners can select either a metallic or wooden faceplate to blend in with their front door/porch. The smanos Smart Video Doorbell will be available for purchase globally in July 2016 at an RRP of £159.

I am not sure what Smanos does here but they launched the K1 in March 2015 yet if you want to buy it you can’t get it anywhere. When contacting them they repeatedly say it takes 3 more month. Is this a company that knows why they are doing. Same story on Ufo Camera and Video Doorbell. All look good yet not if you want to purchase it.
I have been trying to get this system for a long while, I have waited and waited, in the end- purchased something else. Company kept replying saying a few more months. They do lie, however their product is cosmetically, very appealing. Shame about their service.
