RedEye Remote on Android

We just got an email from the guys over at ThinkFlood as they have announced a beta of their RedEye remote control product for Android.  Read on for the details of the free application that allows you to control your home in conjunction with their hardware…

“I thought your readers would be interested to know that there’s new Universal Remote Control system on the horizon! RedEye Controls by ThinkFlood are finally in public beta for Android!

Back in 2009, we introduced RedEye as the first complete remote control system for iOS. Then in 2010 we added PC control. Of course we wouldn’t forget Android, and now it’s here. Now in public beta you can use our free RedEye app to control any networked RedEye (RedEye WiFi or RedEye Pro) from Android phones and tablets. RedEye for Android can be used to control any networked RedEye (RedEye WiFi or RedEye Pro) device and supports Android OS version 1.6 and later. That’s right — RedEye even works with Honeycomb.

More information about the details of the beta program can be found on our support site: http://thinkflood.com/support/redeye/android-beta/.”
