Here’a fab looking touch switch posted to Twitter by Nikolay Rusanov.
From what we can make out from the short video the unit supports PoE (although there’s a mains adaptor plugged into it). There’s a micro USB port on the rear, presumably for programming.
The UI borrows heavily from Windows Mobile and looks fast and responsive.
We asked Nikolay what the unit was and he told us…
it’s an oem unit from Taiwan, they do panels for Control4, Elan and now for Iridium, I hope.

Oh my, someone needs to make an open version of that for people that don’t want to be tied down to a commercial system! I’d buy one for every single room in my house if it worked with indigo!
