AMX App Update Bring Intercom Feature

The latest version of TPControl software from AMX has a new “intercom” feature that enables users to communicate from their iOS smartphones and tablets as well as a range of Android devices.  If you already have the TPControl app thensimply apply the latest free upgrade to get the new features.

“Life becomes so much easier when devices can truly “talk” to one another; that’s why the latest version of AMX’s TPControl software allows users to enjoy the AMX “intercom” experience from their iPad, iTouch, iPhone, as well as a host of Android-enabled devices.

Developed in conjunction with authorised product partner Touch Panel Control, the software upgrade means that users running TPControl 2.0+ can now communicate with AMX Modero Intercom-enabled touchpanels and Metreau Entry Communicators using an intercom mode on the device itself. Simply add the device to the “AMX Communicator Device Module” and users will be able to view real-time images of visitors at the gate, and enjoy full interconnectivity.

The communications experience is further enhanced through the “TPCNOTIFY” command which allows a range of notifications to be sent straight to the device, alerting users to new events and taking them back into the application. So, from letting someone know that they have a visitor at the door, to informing them that the sprinkler has been on for an hour; the notification command ensures that they are always kept in the loop.
