IDRATEK ANNOUNCES NEW SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE RELEASES – A new major release of IDRATEK’s hugely powerful Cortex software is now available. Incorporating numerous new features and enhancements, the new Cortex V25 also implements a variety of less visible foundational changes to support present and future developments.

A new Alarm object (Alarm Pro) has been added to the Cortex module options. The Alarm Pro object is designed to provide a single unified alarm feature to manage not only an intruder alarm but also continuously monitored alarm features (referred to as Environment Alarms). Multiple users with different credentials, 5 intruder alarm modes and 11 environmental alarm categories are just an example of the breadth of Alarm Pro.

Cortex V25 extends its energy management capabilities by introducing a specific object to handle the management of a thermal store, typically utilised in heating systems with solar panels as a secondary energy source.

Support for the transition to MS Windows 7 and a number of new hardware modules is also included.  Transition to Cortex V25 remains free for existing customers.
