This years WWDC keynote has just finished. It was filled with excitement such as the voice memo app coming to the iPad (8 years on) and a redesigned stocks app – woo hoo. All the OS updates are available this autumn as usual, here are some of the highlights…

I was disappointed there wasn’t much work on HomeKit. Afterwards they did a separate technical brief where they did add remote control support but I was really hoping for some extra device definitions like robotic vacuum cleaners, electric blankets, etc. And a lot more stability would be nice too
